The Competition Toolkit provides the tools necessary to run the CEAS competition environment on your local system and instructions on how to integrate your filter into the test environment. The same competition environment included here is used to run the live test stream that will be available to all contestants.
The toolkit is not necessary for most users as a live test environment is provided online. The main advantage of the toolkit is that it allows you to test your anti-spam solution on your local network without having to rely on a shared resource.
The toolkit also provides tools for participants behind a firewall to connect to a competititon server, and tools to integrate filters which are already configured to run under the TREC Anti-Spam Track toolkit.
IMPORTANT NOTE
The code below requires Apache Log4j be downloaded and installed separately. Please
unpack the Apache Log4j 1.2.14 directly into the distribution downloaded below.
